Cash Rules Everything
The banks have entered themselves into another scandal just to make sure they really are hated by the general public. Just short of walking into your house to deliver your monthly bank statement and accompanying it with a swirling round house kick to your temple, there's not a lot more they could do to ostracise themselves further. They have rigged bank rates like a small child cheating at Monopoly. Why? Greed of course. The need for more money, cars, cocaine, and shrivelled blonde-wags never decreases for the elite. The city workers of the world are never fulfilled by the material objects they desire.
To an extent we all enjoy spending some cash and splurging it on stuffed bears and blue nun, but what the elite show us is that we will never be content. The need for the newest gizmo and pointless guff burns deep in our pocket and we feel if we were to only have the latest wafer thin TV that our life will then become complete. The elite have that very TV though, one in each room in fact. They also wipe their arse with silk and dry their hands with live kittens. Even with such luxury they crave more.
We despise these greedy creatures and scathe at their hoggish ways. But would we act differently? Perhaps not. We appear jealous of the Kardashian, Hilton inbreds and dream of living the Mark Wright "dream". These people are presented to us so we chase a life that probably doesn't exist because you don't need to have the latest oven and grill combo to be content. Although that cheese-flavoured Ferrari could be just what I needed........
